Hi Oz-envirolink, here is an email I've just sent to a bunch of friends located in certain Australian locations:

" I just found about an ethical Travel Agency in Melbourne run by a guy who just trained with Al Gore in Melbourne and who are giving free tickets to "An Inconvenient Truth" anywhere in Oz. If you send them your ticket stubs they refund your money. See the conditions at http://www.intrepidtravel.com/inconvenienttruth They say that << This offer is available for a maximum of 10,000 tickets >> and I believe that only 3000 have been redeemed thus far.

So I asked my friend at United International Pictures to send me a list of all the places in Oz where the film is still playing.

"An Inconvenient Truth" is an extremely important film. If you know people who might not see it because they can't afford to go to the movies, please let them, especially, know of this offer.

Please let anybody else know that if they see one film this year ... this should be the one.

The email from United International Pictures listing the other places in Australia where "An Inconvenient Truth" is playing is appended. Please forward news of this offer to any friends you might have in the places listed.

Hi John

All is well - thanks for asking.

Please see below for an update on status quo of the locations for An Inconvenient Truth.

Best of luck with the roadshows and thanks so much for all the support you have given the film. We have now officially passed the $AUD4 million mark - the film is the 4th most watched documentary at the Australian box office. To usurp March of the Penguins and claim 3rd most watched spot, we'd have to do $AUD4.3 million and I don't think the film has that scope left in it but we won't give up hoping until the last screen plays its last session.

All the best to you and yours for Christmas.

Kind regards

Di
